Planning consultant Kem Mehmed joined the Board to help expand its stock of affordable and rented homes.

Kemal set up his planning consultancy K M Planning in 1988. During his career he has worked on a number of regional development projects, particularly in housing. This has ranged from creating plans to improve housing estates to new build housing schemes. Prior to setting up his business Kemal worked for the Peterborough Development Corporation and was involved with early planning work to develop the Orton areas of Peterborough.
