Part of the new Hampton township this is one of the largest housing developments in the County with over 7,500 homes and associated infrastructure planned. Under a Section 106 Agreement the landowners, O&H, periodically release tranches of land for affordable housing.

In 2005 Accent Nene bid for funding under the Housing Corporation's New Partnership in Affordable Housing and secured grant of over £4m to deliver 180 mixed tenure homes at Hempsted with additional land being made available for a further 22 homes which has received further funding from Housing Corporation.

This scheme is due to complete late summer 2009 with handovers phased over a four month period.
