Accent Nene is committed to the reduction and prevention of Anti-Social Behaviour. The Anti-Social Behaviour Policy provides guidance on the Accent Nene's objectives, service standards, support and partnership working with regard to tackling Anti-Social Behaviour and its effects on communities.

Accent Nene's aim is to:
Ensure through appropriate action that tenants fulfil their responsibilities as defined in the tenancy agreement (whilst maintaining their tenancy wherever possible) and that residents have quiet enjoyment of their homes.

Work in partnership with residents, local authorities, Police and other agencies to create successful tenancies and communities.

What is Anti Social Behaviour?
Accent Nene considers the examples listed below to be conduct which is deemed unacceptable and categorized as Anti-Social Behaviour (this list is not exhaustive). Accent Nene will not tolerate this type of behaviour, which is capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to any person:

  • Noise nuisance
  • Rubbish dumping
  • Domestic violence
  • Fouling of public areas
  • Intimidation and harassment
  • Aggressive and threatening language and behaviour
  • Actual violence against people
  • Criminal behaviour
  • Damage to property
  • Using homes to sell drugs or for unlawful purpose
  • Hate behaviour that targets members of identified groups due to their perceived differences
