Getting involved - having your say

Accent Nene's Resident Involvement team works with residents to help improve the quality of life for all. We are committed to involving, consulting and informing residents about the management of their homes and provide lots of opportunities for you to have your say.

Getting involved gives you the chance to meet people, learn new skills and find new ways of engaging with your community. You can get lots out of being an involved resident; you can directly influence and improve what Accent Nene does and increase your knowledge of different subjects.

We recognise that residents will wish to be involved in different ways, depending on their personal circumstances and we have developed a variety of methods to enable residents to choose the most suitable ways for them to be involved. Being involved doesn't mean attending a meeting, although this is one of the options. If this is not your cup of tea we offer other ways for you to contribute including telephone meetings, internet discussion groups, mystery shopping, scheme walk-abouts, surveys and much more.

To help residents become involved we also help with transport and child care costs, and provide administrative support, assistance on newsletter production and funding advice

More information about the opportunities for you to have your say can be found by clicking the link below. Or, if you would prefer, call Jill Jackson or Ruth Mingay on: 01733 294400, 0800 393890 or 0845 603 7673. It couldn't be easier to volunteer so what are you waiting for… …get involved!

Our Resident Involvement Statement gives details of the ways you can be involved and also how Accent Nene will help you with having your say.
