Residents Associations

06/01/2008

A residents association is a group of residents on a scheme who act and represent the views of other residents.

Accent Nene are happy to provide assistance in setting up a residents association and to offer any support needed once the association is in full swing. After receiving majority support from residents in an area, Accent Nene are happy to provide a start up grant of £100.00

Some of the benefits a Residents Association can bring are:-

  • Continuing good relations between residents and the local community
  • Improvements to the environment and amenities in the area
  • A collective way to voice opinions about local issues to both Accent Nene and other agencies such as the Police and the Council
  • Improved social activities

If you think that a Residents Association would benefit your area and would like further informaiton on setting one up then contact Jill or Ruth in the resident involvement team on Freephone 0800 393890 or Lo-call 0845 603 7673.
