If you are eligible for housing benefit you can make a claim when you take the tenancy, this will assist you to pay the rent You may also be able to claim Supporting People grant, this will assist you to pay for the support provided by the scheme manager and the emergency alarm. Your Housing Officer will be able to help with claiming for this.
