Accent Nene has appointed a head of development to lead the delivery of its substantial programme of new affordable housing and community facilities.

Adrian Redmond has joined the housing association to lead the team responsible for new housing and identify further development opportunities. The role will cover Nene's area of operation which includes Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Peterborough, Nottingham and Milton Keynes.

"Since joining the Accent Group, Nene has increased its provision of affordable housing for rent and shared ownership and opened up further opportunities to improve existing housing stock and build community facilities," said Adrian. "My role will see me strengthening further the relationship with the Accent Group and regional and national housebuilders to deliver greater efficiency and value for money in future developments."
