Our resident groups
Talking to our customers and understanding what is important to them is a critical part of improving our services.
We talk to residents nationally and locally to identify key issues and priorities, and enable them to continually challenge our processes and standards.
Residents can be involved as much, or as little, as they choose. Depending on whether you live with Accent Foundation, Accent Nene or Accent Peerless, please click on the links below to find out how you can get involved and help to improve services for yourself and other residents.
Resident board and panel members
At the highest level, our residents can become board members to influence strategic business decisions. These can be positions on established governing boards, or individual project boards, to ensure the smooth delivery of a particular product or service.
We have a number of additional groups that represent the different needs and interests of all our residents.
Accent Group Residents' Panel
The Accent Group Residents' Panel is made up of residents from our three housing providers; Accent Foundation, Accent Nene and Accent Peerless. Its role is to drive improvements across all of Accent Group, concentrating on common issues.
Local panels
Accent Foundation, Accent Nene and Accent Peerless have a number of local panels, representing the general interests of residents who live in sheltered schemes, who have disabilities, and who own their homes. They each have a residents' editorial panel, which help us make sure we communicate with our customers in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
Residents’ groups and associations
On many of our schemes and estates, we have local residents’ groups and associations, which help to make improvements for their residents and their local communities.
